   Youth activities

The Junior Youth Empowerment Program sponsored by Jacksonville and other Bahá'í Spiritual Assemblies, teaches that young people want to
contribute to the common good. Inquisitive, energetic and with a thirst for knowledge, young people have potentialities and capacities which are often
not recognized and developed. Through special programs, young people become equipped with a profound understanding of their own potential and
are empowered to engage in acts of service to the community.

"Call thou to mind his honor Badi', who was the bearer of the Tablet to His Majesty the Shah, and reflect how he laid down
his life. That knight, who spurred on his charger in the arena of renunciation, threw down the precious crown of life for the
sake of Him Who is the Incomparable Friend."
